Citrus Whipped Goat Cheese Crostini

These light crostini’s paired with SEAGLASS alcohol-removed Pinot Grigio will be a welcome addition to any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • Olive oil, for brushing
  • 4 oz goat cheese (soft, room temp)
  • 2 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Zest of ½ orange
  • 1 tsp honey (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1–2 tsp fresh lemon juice (to taste)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Fresh mint or basil leaves, finely chopped (for garnish)
  • Optional: thinly sliced candied orange peel or a sprinkle of crushed pistachios for color

Directions

  1. Toast the Crostini.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and lightly brush each side with olive oil. Bake for about 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
  3. Make the Whipped Cheese.
  4. In a small bowl or food processor, blend goat cheese, cream cheese, lemon zest, orange zest, honey, lemon juice, and a pinch of sea salt. Whip until smooth and airy — about 1–2 minutes. Taste and adjust with more citrus or honey as you like.
  5. Assemble- Spread a generous layer of whipped citrus cheese on each crostini.
  6. Garnish + Serve – Drizzle lightly with honey, sprinkle chopped mint or basil, and top with a little lemon zest or candied orange peel for color. Serve immediately with chilled SEAGLASS Alcohol-Removed Pinot Grigio.
