A great wine for all occasions, White Zinfandel can be enjoyed with many of your favorite dishes; we enjoy pairing it with our favorite spicy cuisines. White Zinfandel complements Asian or Latin foods. Invite friends over for a fiery fajita bar and hand them a glass of well-chilled White Zin. The light sweetness of the wine will put out any four-alarm fires.
The grapes for the original White Zinfandel are selected from premium growing regions in California. We use nothing but the best red Zinfandel grapes from our vineyards in the upper Sacramento and Northern San Joaquin valleys. The fruit is picked early so we are able to harvest grapes with low sugars and relatively high acids to maximize the freshness that is the signature of our White Zinfandel.
Grapes are immediately pressed after harvest and the free run juice is cold fermented in stainless steel tanks for 10 days at approximately 60 degrees Fahrenheit. The wine spends no time in oak so as not to compete with the fresh and fruity qualities of a good White Zinfandel.
