Trinity Oaks Merlot 2013
Bright red cherry and sweet black plums with notes of spice, tea, and vanilla. Medium-bodied on the palate, the wine is supported by soft, supple tannins and pairs well with lamb, pork and grilled salmon.
The grapes for this bottling are 55% sourced from the Lodi region (Clarksburg) and 45% from the Monterey Coast.
After a 10-day fermentation, the wine was aged in American and French oak uprights to add texture and roundness. 70% Infused with French oak staves.
