Newman's Own Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
We carefully select our premium grapes from some of California’s best
growing regions including Lodi/Delta and Monterey Counties. Each
vineyard imparts its own unique characteristics into the many complex
layers of this wine.
Once we harvest the finest fruit from our key growing areas along the
California coast, the juice undergoes fermentation in stainless steel
tanks. It is then aged in French oak to allow the distinctive flavors and
aromas from each vineyard to marry into one harmonious wine. Our
winemakers blended in 12% California Petite Sirah to add an additional
layer of complexity and structure to the wine.
The 2013 Newman’s Own Cabernet Sauvignon presents a robust and
medium weighted palate with strong varietal berry and cherry fruit,
violets and toasty sweet oak flavors. Cherries and vanilla spice on the
mouth lead to a long, lingering finish.
